NAS FM 89.9 is on the verge of losing staffs over poor salaries, ill treatment being meting on them by the management.

In a letter of resignation by one of the organization’s staff, Ismaila Zaiyad who is a Producer/Presenter of a popular Hausa program; ” Ina Matasa” was said to have now out because of unfair treatment against him.

Stating more reasons why he resigned to , Zaiyad worried over poor salaries and inability to manage the radio station well under the management of Musa Waziri Hardawa.

“I resigned because I want to protect my image and protect the interest of those staff still working on the radio station, and to further expose the attitudes of the top management, frustrating us and no motivation from them toward work.

” Is being expected that a Degree holder should collect not less than fifty thousand naira as salary but we are all having a benchmark of thirty thousand naira as a our salaries with indiscriminate reductions.

“With my experience as international trained journalist in Germany and Holland with degree and many certificates in Multi Journalism the manager (Waziri) alongside my colleagues who are mostly degree holders and the engine rooms of the radio stations but has sidelined us to be managing the organization with three retired civil servants.

” He employed people from Bauchi his home state that do not know even the job at the detriment of the hard working staffs of the organization. With this development I’m assuring in distance time the station will be deserted by many workers.” Zaiyad said

He however said the founder of the organization may not be aware of the many escapades going on in the station but he should wake up to address the situation to keep his good intentions of helping the society with the laudable radio project he set to achieve.

Many efforts were made by correspondent prove abortive as calls put through Hardawa’s number are not been answered
