As President Muhammadu Buhari started searching for experienced and patriotic candidates to fill the vacuum created as a result of the removal of two ministers, we are appealing to Mr. President to allocate one slot to Kano state once again.

Recalled that the President had sacked the minister of power, Alhaji Sale Mamman from Taraba State as well as the minister of Agriculture, Alh Muhammad Sabo Nanono who hailed from Kano last week.

Though Media Ambassadors Organization had thrown its support behind Mr. President to relieve any public office holder who failed to justify the confidence reposed on him, it’s of utmost importance for him to consider Kano which used to be his political base and center of commerce by appointing another cabinet minister in place of the ex-minister of Agriculture, Alh Muhammad Sabo Nanono.

However, we strongly advise Mr. President not to allow politics to determine the selection of the ministerial nominee.

In a statement by the National President Abdullahi Isah and national publicity secretary Muhammad Adam Tudun Murtala said Rather, Merits, experience, honesty, an act of patriotism, and a track record should be the guiding principle in choosing the replacement of the minister.
