The academic staff union of universities has condemned an assault of their member by DSS operatives which is alleged to have taken place along eastern bypass in Kano metropolis on 18th August 2021.
In a statement by the chairperson of the Union Bayero University Kano Professor Haruna Musa charges the Department of state security services to investigate the matter and bring the perpetrators in order to stop f anarchy, torture and harassment of innocent Nigerians.
The statement by ASUU said their member professor ABdulkadir was driving around 2 PM when the operatives of the DSS were driving at high speed along the Eastern bye-pass with siren harassing commuters when they stop Professor Abdulkadir singled him out damaged his car and assaulted him repeatedly the statement said.
