<p>Federal Government has approved the recruitment of 20,000 policemen in an effort to resolve the security situation of the country.</p>

<p>&#8220;Federal Government has approved the recruitment of police and provided all the necessary logistics to do the recruitment&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8221; The recruitment is in line with the Federal Government directives to recruit 10,000 policemen every year and for 2020 we will match with 2021 which will increase the strength of the police by 20,000&#8243;</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>The IGP however urged the traditional rulers to take part in the recruitment process to ensure those recruited are of good character and indigenes of their Local Governments.</p>

<p>He said those trained will also be deployed back to their respective communities for better policing.</p>

<p>&#8220;There is no better person who can provide proper policing than the person who knows the culture and tradition of the people&#8221;</p>

<p>The Emir of Dutse Dr.Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi however assured the traditional rulers&#8217; commitment to supporting security agencies in the protection of lives and properties of the citizens.</p>
