The Tijjaniyya Sufi movement has commended security agencies across the country for cracking down on insurgents which led to the surrender of many.
The movement stated this in a communiqué issued to newsmen after the annual Zikhr and prayer for Nigeria organized by the movement at the Emir’s palace in Kano.

The statement which was issued by Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa secretary Media Committee of the annual Zikr said the Conference commended the Kano State Government for its efforts in dealing with a cleric who was tarnishing the image of Islam and criticizing the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), his family and Companions.
The Conference commended the Emirate of Kano for its commitment, support, and assistance in ensuring the sustainability of this annual event.
Kofar Naisa calls on the Federal Government to re-examine the country’s economic reforms to alleviate the plight of its citizens through poverty, malnutrition, poverty, and hardship.
Tijjaniyya movement calls on the Federal Government to ensure that the perpetrators of the massacre of Muslims in Jos are arrested and brought to justice.
The workshop encouraged the participants to be diligent in their pursuit of knowledge, practice, and avoid bigotry in their daily lives.
The Conference calls on the People to continue to follow in the footsteps of their forefathers and strive to pass this to the younger generation.
Tijjaniyya further urges its followers of Darika on the maintenance of the Islamic Brotherhood.
