Kano based politician and philanthropist Malam Nasir Jaoji has revealed that he had decided to dump Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressive Congress (APC) due to the positive development brought to Kano by APC led government as well as to assist in consolidating the party’s six years achievements under President Muhammadu Buhari.

The founder of M Nasir Jaoji Foundation in Kano said he dumped his party PDP, and joined the APC to also support governor Ganduje’s efforts in the attainment of positive development in the state. He added that, Kano has really benefitted from various development policies of APC led government and he has seen the well-meaning intention of the government towards the development of Kano in particular and Nigeria in general.

“Kano state has gained a lot under the APC led administration, for instance, Kano to Abuja road, Kaduna to Kano rail line, the resumption of Kano to Lago rail, the dry inland port among others are some of the development that inspired me to dump my former party to APC. I am from Tarauni local government constituency; I joined APC not because of my personal interest but to contribute in achieving a solid foundation of our state economy development, which the APC led government is trying to establish,” he said.
