<p>The Kano State House of Assembly had invited Mr. <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rimin_Gado">Rimingado</a> to appear before its ad-hoc committee investigating a petition against him on Wednesday, July 14, 2021.</p>
<p>But Mr. Muhutyi, while citing health grounds and attaching medical records to boot, demanded a certified true copy of the petition the assembly received against him and requested for more time to appear.</p>

<p>But at the High Court on Friday, the judge ordered as follows:</p>

<p>“Order of Interim Injunction is hereby granted to the Plaintiff/Applicant restraining the Defendants/Respondents from taking any step related to or in connection with this matter pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.</p>
<p>“Order is hereby granted accelerating the hearing of this matter by abridging time within which the Defendants/Respondents may file and serve their respective Court process in this matter.</p>
<p>“Order is hereby granted directing the service of the process of this Court in this matter to be affected by serving the office of the Honourable Attorney-General of Kano State.”</p>
<p>The judge, therefore, adjourned the case till August 6, 2021.</p>
