The founder of Hasiya Ibrahim Sani Emancipation Foundation HISANEF Major General Ibrahim Sani has called on Muslims to use the festive period of Eid el Adha to pray for peace in the country.
In a statement General Sani said the day of Arafat which is the ninth of Dhul Hajj and the tenth celebrated globally as Eid el Kabir, should be utilized for prayers and good deeds,while the sacrifices made should be channelled towards helping the needy including orphans and widows.
He stressed that people must be security conscious and report any mischievous elements they do not trust to relevant authorities.
General Sani also cautioned the youth on drug abuse and the incessant crime of phone snatching especially in Kano and other places,adding that the law awaits anyone caught in the horrible acts.
He wished all Nigerians a happy and prosperous Sallah celebrations, filled with joy and Almighty Allah’s blessings.
