At Over 70 Years, Chief Imam Of Bompai  Bags MA Degree

At more than 70 years, the chief Imam of Bompai Jumuat Mosque in Kano Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf has completed masters degree in Arabic Language from ALWIFAQ International University Niamey Niger republic.

 

The Scholar whose main passion is seeking for knowledge did his Bachelor of Arts degree at Khartoum University (Kano Campus) after retiring from the state’s universal education board over 10 years ago.

His thesis defence which was held via zoom was attended by five scholars of ALWIFAQ international university and was graded with upper credit ,(JAYYID JIDDAN)

The title of his MA thesis is AL’IJAZ WAL’ITNAB WAL MUSAWAA MIN AHADITH RIYADUSSALIHIN LI’IMAMUNNAWAWI

FRIDAY SERMON: Islam Detest Dereliction of Duty

Sheikh Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf was among the deputy chief Imams of Daawah Jumuat Masjid led by late Sheikh AMinudden Abubakar and had started deputizing for him since late 1994 delivering Friday sermons.

 

The schools he attended while working as a school teacher since 1977 is school for Arabic studies SAS and Aminu Kano college of Islamic studies where he obtained a Diploma in Arabic language around 1993.

In an interaction with the NIGERIAN TRACKER a senior staff of the university Malam Usman Aliyu Ibrahim said the MA degree secured by Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf serves as a booster to younger generation who want have the passion to seek for knowledge.
