Sheikh Balelah To Lead 2021 Hajj Sermon

The Saudi Arabian Kingdom has appointed Sheikh Bandar Balelah to lead in the sermon for 2021 Hajj

 

In a statement by Haraimain Sharifain said the| The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques has appointed Imam and Khateeb of Masjid Al Haram Sheikh Bandar bin Abdulaziz Baleelah as Khateeb of #Hajj1442.

 

The tradition of the Kingdom was that the grand mUfti sheikh Abdul Aziz Abdullahi Ali Sheikh led the Hajj sermon but step down in 2016 due to health reasons.

The 2016 Hajj sermon was then led by sheikh Abdurrahman Sudais the minister of the two holy mosques.

This year’s Hajj was only limited to those living in the kingdom due to the Coronavirus pandemic that ravages the world.

The Saudi Arabian Kingdom only allows 60 thousand pilgrims to perform the Hajj unlike before when almost two million Muslims perform the Hajj yearly
