3,583 Physically Challenge to receive N5000 monthly in Jigawa

Federal Government says 3,583 person living with disabilities will receive N5000 monthly for the period of six months in Jigawa state under it’s Rapid Response register, RRR program.

Mustapha Umar stated this in a meeting with CSOs and Media on Sensitization of Rapid Response Register organised by CDGP held at Tahir Quest place, Dutse.

He said the Rapid Response Register was introduced by the Federal Government to identify people most affected by Covid-19 pandemic economically.

Umar explained that Federal Government has targeted 268,492 beneficiaries from twelve ward in eight local selected local Governments to recieves N5000 monthly credit alart in Jigawa state.

The local governments are Babura, Birniwa, Kafin Hausa, Gwaram, Jahun, Hadejia, Dutse and Malam Madori.

“Also only people from Babura ward, Birniwa, JigawarTsada,Limawa,Basirka,Sara,Atafi,Kasuwan Kuda,Yayari,Jahun,Garin Gabas and Kafin Hausa ward will register”

The state coordinator said out of the 268,492 targeted beneficiaries already 13,925 old persons and 3,583 persons living with disabilities were automatically selected from social register to benefit with 5000 monthly for the period of six months”he said.

He therefore advised the benefiting communities to register in the program by dialing codes of their respective local Governments for the registration before Monday 5th July,2021.
