Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN) has shelved its planned nationwide strike.
The association, on Monday threatened to embark on the planned industrial action and shut fuel stations nationwide, beginning from tomorrow (Tuesday).
However, following the prompt intervention of the Federal Ministry of Justice, the management of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and National Assembly, the association hereby declare that it has shelved the planned strike.
The association therefore calls on its members nationwide to continue their lawful business.

IPMAN also calls on Nigerians not to panic as the matter that prompted the association to call for the strike is receiving prompt attention from appropriate authorities.
In a statement by the National public relations officer Aliyu Yakubu Yusuf said the association has ordered its members to continue supplying Petroleum products nationwide as we are confident the matter will be resolved soon.
