<p>The network which was formally inaugurated last Friday at Baballe Suites, Nssarawa GRA Kano sought to engage scientific communities to support Scaling Up Nutrition family., Secretary General of the group, Dr Saisu Abubakar has said.</p>

<p>He said the new group has as parts of its the mandate to help expand nutrition interventions through efficacy.</p>

<p>According to him, the body will pursue tertiary institutions to conduct research on nutrition, adding that the body will also pursue research, education and scholarship in the areas of nutrition.</p>

<p>Abubakar further disclosed that the network will create a community of nutrition scientists, academics and professionals, that will help facilitate development network.</p>
<p> ;</p>
<p>According to him, the network will further help to address key knowledge gaps and to play prominent role in developing stronger partnerships.</p>
