Hoodlums attacked vigilante office in Tunga Community, destroys properties

Some Hoodlums have attacked a Vigilate office at Tunga Community of Kumbotso local Government Area of kano state.

Narrating the in incidence to journalist the commander of the vigilante group Tijjani muhammed Dattijo said the hoodlums invaded the vigilante office at around 12.00 am on Thursday night with Dangerous weapons, broke the office and destroyed all furniture and valuables in the office.

“The hoodlooms were not happy with the operations of the Vigilate in this community,because we have halted them from committing various crimes in this community”

“They are about sixty in number, after destroying our office they also chucked one Almajiri boy with a sharp knife and alco cut down one of his fingers, the poor innocent boy is now receiving treatment at Murtala Mohammad Hospital”

Commander Tijjani Muhammed Dattijo said after reporting the case to the police eight suspects were arrested.

He appealed to parents and guardians residing in Tunga Community and enviros to be vigilant on the whereabout of the children, especially the peers they Mingled with,saying the vigilante group would hesitate in ensuring security of the Area.

He Applauded the support and cooperation given to them by the Nigerian police force, Dorayi babba division.

” The DPO is always up and doing in ensuring that all thuggery activities are being curtailed in this community, he is a very hard-working officer ,we commend his efforts”

When contacted the police public relations officer of Kano command DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa confirmed the incident.

“Some Hoodlums attacked a vigilante office in tunga,and destroys all valuables in the vigilante office,we’ve apprehended eight of the suspect, and they will be transfered to CID for further investigation”

“We assured the people of Tunga Community and the general populace that hoodlums have no hiding place in Kano, we’ll fish them out and if found guilty would be prosecuted.
