<p>On his part, Executive Director, Voluntary Aid Initiative, VAI, Musa Umar Aboki said the annual program was to ensure children celebrate their Day through advocacy campaign and sporting activities to make the event colourful.</p>

<p>Musa explained that, the VAI organized the activities in collaboration with Save the Children International and Funded by Global Affairs Canada, GAG, with a view to promoting the children education and social activities.</p>
<p>He noted that, this year&#8217;s event took place at Kaura Namoda local government area, where they held meetings with various Community stakeholders and talk to them on children survival, they also organized sports activities, quiz competition for adolescent groups and community walk on child survival to mark this year&#8217;s children&#8217;s Day celebration.</p>
<p>Over 1000 children participated in the programs and happily active for the celebration.</p>
