<p>Kano Yoruba Community leader and the first chartered president of Rotary club of Bompai, Kano, Muri Jawando is dead.</p>
<p>The renown philanthropist died aged 85.</p>
<p>According to a statement signed by Adebukola Jawando Esq, for the family of the deceased, note that the octogenarian died “in his sleep on Monday 17th May 2021, after a protracted illness.</p>

<p>Pa Jawando hails from the Jawando family in Ibadan.</p>
<p>He is survived by five children, his remains would be interred in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo state, family sources disclosed.</p>
