POLITICS DIGEST reports that the distribution of Ramadan Palliatives by Dr Yunusa Adamu Dangwani has led to rift in the Kwankwasiyya movement where some members that are supporting the candidature of Abba Kabir Yusuf accused him of sabotage against Kwankwaso.

In a viral video by the organising secretary of the PDP Sanusi Surajo Kwankwaso, he accused Dangwani of trying to disunite the movement because of his ambition against Abba Kabir Yusuf, a governorship annointed candidate of PDP in the 2019 poll.

In a swift reaction while addressing newsmen, Dangwani has debunked speculations that he’s contesting for governorship stating that it’s not yet time for that.

According to a source who pleaded anonymity to this paper, some stakeholders of the movement led by Dangwani presented their greveinces during the meeting against Abba whom they describe as someone that has no respect for them, his convoluted ego has led to some of his aides refusal to respect them as stakeholders in the Kwankwasiyya movement.

The source further revealed that Kwankwaso is very careful this time, he’s trying to calm the situation looking at his issues with the national leadership of the PDP and the disrupted zonal congress that took place in Kaduna.

“Oga is not in good term with stakeholders of our party in the North West, the party at national level is not happy with him for promoting his movement and not giving priority to party issues and if he allows the internal crisis of Kwankwasiyya to worsen in Kano then the story will be different.

So, he is very careful this time and this stakeholders are very powerful, they have a large number of supporters in the movement unlike Abba that is not even in good time with people when he was Commissioner.

It’s his governorship ambition that makes him to adjust from his poor human relations with people” the source said.
