Tricycle Rider Drowns In Kano River

A tricycle rider popularly known in local parlance as Adaidaita Sahu has drowned in Shimar River in Bunkure Local Govt yesterday  6th May 2021.

 

 

The tricycle rider whose identity is yet to be known was riding along the Danhassan town located in Kura local government area of Kano State Northwestern Nigeria where he stopped around the Shimar River a border between Kura and Bunkure Local government.

An eyewitness and a resident of the town Abubakar Inuwa told NIGERIAN TRACKER correspondent that the tricylist parked the Tricycle by the River side around 5 Pm on thursday to swim,and till the morning of Friday he was not sighted even by the contractors who are repairing the Shimar River bridge .

The residents of the nearby town led by the village Head gathered around the River and employed expert swimmers to search the tricycle rider,while swimming inside the River Shimar they found the dead body of the tricycle rider.

 

 

The corpse has  since been evacuated to the  Murtala Muhammad Hospital mutuary before the identity of his relatives is tracked.

 

 

A resident of the near town Hamza Marke told NIGERIAN TRACKER that the river Shimar has been drowning strangers or visors who stopped to swim.

According to Hamza Mato Marke the reason why strangers are drowning inside the River Shimar may be connected to how naive strange swimmers are with the River Shimar that supply water to irrigation farmers in their farms adjacent the River.
