Fire incidents has killed a 29 year Islamic cleric Muhammad Ahmad at Kuka village in Kirikasamma local Government area of Jigawa State.
Local Government Information officer Sanusi Soro confirmed the incident.
He said the fire which occurred on Monday started at about 2:00Am killed the cleric and injured two other almajiris.
He explained that the deceased died as a result of suffocation and also burnt animals into ashes.

Meanwhile another fire incident destroyed eight houses in Kadangare village in Birnin kudu local Government area of Jigawa State.
Kwangwara Ward councilor Alhaji Sule Ubale confirmed the incident.
He said the source of the fire is unknown but destroyed all the houses, food items and livestocks in the area.
Ubale said two persons have escaped death from the inferno.
He therefore called on Governments, politicians and wealthy individuals to support the victims.
