Zamfara No fly zone: Don’t be intimidated Wike tells Mattawale

The River State Governor Nyeson Wiki has advised Governor Bello Mattawale of zamfara state not to be intimidated by the recent federal government order on no fly zone in the state.

Governor Nyeson Wike who was among the PDP Governors that paid a sympathy visit to zamfara state on Wednesday evening at Goverment house Gusau,said the governor should shine his eyes over any political intimidation.

Nyeson Wike said “I can’t understand a party which declared Zamfara a no fly zone is coming to woe the governor, Zamfara people should shine their eyes because God who gave Matawalle governor has not abandoned him”.

“Do not lose sleep in Zamfara, we shall overcome,the governor met the problem of insecurity and is not as if it started when he became governor, so, no body can come and use insecurity to intimidate the governor or any other governor,”

He described the recent APC Governors forum donation of N50 million as a Greek gift,urged Matawalle not to receive the opposition again.

Earlier on, the Six PDP governors led by the PDP Governors’ Forum Chairman, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal had console the government and the good people of Zamfara State and the victims of the recent Tudun Wada Gusau Market fire.

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal described the inferno as a decree from Allah which had to take place at the time it occured.

The PDP Governors forum has donated the sum of one hundred million naira to the victims of the Tudun wada central market fire inferno in Gusau metropolis.

In his remarked,governor Bello Mohammed Matawalle expressed happiness with the visit by the PDP governors which he also described as timely following the Gusau market incident.

Matawalle noted how close he is with Aminu Tambuwal with whom he has a long history dating back to their times at the House of Representatives.

“A crying child abandoned by his mother is likely to take food from a street beggar,”Matawalle stressed.

Those visiting governors include, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Nyeson Wike of Rivers, Bala Mohammed of Bauchi, Darius Ishaku of Taraba and Ahmad Umar Fintiri of Adamawa.
