Kano CPC Confiscates Drugs Worth One Hundred Million Naira

In continuation of its operation Kano State Consumer Protection Council has successfully confiscated fake, expired and counterfeit drugs and other products worth about one hundred million naira (N100, 000 0000).

 

Speaking to newsmen the representative of the Acting Managing Director of the council (Dr Baffa Babba Dan’agundi), the senior special assistant to the governor on KAROTA Nasiru Usman Na’ibawa said the products were confiscated at Sabongari and other markets in the metropolis between Friday 02/04/2021 to Monday 05/04/2021.

Nasiru Na’ibawa added that the council will not relent in its effort towards curtailing the importation and selling of unwanted products that are dangerous to the life of people of Kano especially in this period that we are approaching the holy month of Ramadan.

 

In a statement issued to newsmen by Musbahu Aminu Yakasai said the confiscated products include drugs, lemon flavour, and other consumables.
