Vice president Yomi Osinbajo would today formally declare open the 20th edition of the National Sports Festival, NSF, in Benin Edo state capital, Nigerian Tracker gathered.
Mr Osinbajo is expected to arrive Benin city later today Tuesday to superitend over the official opening ceremony slated for 7pm today at Samuel Ogbemudia stadium.
Top among diginatries billed to witness the formal opening of Nigeria’s mini Olympics are Edo state governor, Godwin Obaseki, minister of youths and sports , Sunday Dare and president Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, Mr Honor Sirawoo.
Samuel Ogbemudia stadium venue of the ceremonial opening has been sealed off by security operatives.
All routes leading to the stadia are been man by vigilant security operatives.
Access to the venue is under strict regulation , only invited persons are allowed to access the venue.

Our checks revealed that only persons with special tags meant for the opening ceremony would be allowed to witness the event.
Our correspondent reports that security agents have evacuated athletes without special tags , who were having special training sessions or seen roaming around the facility.
Sources confirmed to our reporter that only 20 athletes will be allowed to represent each state at the traditional March past .
The minister of youths and sports , Sunday Dare has arrived the city for the event . NT reports.
As at the time of filling this report, members Edo state Cultural troupe were sighted at the state Cultural Centre warming up to treat guests at the event to.a rich display of Edo culture and civilization.
