Court Stops Ado Bayero Royal City Trust Fund From Sale Of Eid Ground In Kano

A Kano High Court Sitting In Bichi Presided by Justice Sanusi Ado Maaji has restrained Ado Bayero Royal City Trust Fund from taking over Darmanawa layout Eid Ground .
In an interim injunction obtained by the plaintiffs, the court has restrained the defendants either by their agents privies or any other person by whatever name toward carving out residential lands for disposal or sale out of the Darmanawa Eid Praying Ground pending the hearing of the determination of the notice in motion.
Kano Community Protest “Illegal” Take Over Of Eid Ground
The plaintiffs are Alhaji Sageer Wada Mai Iyali,Ibrahim Sule Gyadi -Gyadi and Abdullahi Baffa on behalf of Darmanawa layout Development association.

Joined as defendants are Alhaji Abdullahi Sarki Ibrahim Makaman Kano, Alhaji Shehu Muhammad Sarkin Shanun Kano,Ado Bayero Royal City Trust Fund and Alhaji Tanko Bala.

The case was adjourned to 26th of April for the hearing of motion in notice.
