Senator Barkiya donates N20 million Naira to Katsina market fire victims

The senotor representing Katsina central at the national assembly,kabir Abdullahi barkiya on Wednesday donated twenty million naira to the victims of Katsina central market fire accident.

He announced the donation during his visit to commiserate with the victims of the Inferno at the premises of the market in Katsina.

While commiserating with the victims barkiya urged them to consider the Incident as an act of God and receive it in good faith.

He also encouraged them to not lose sight of the pictures despite the tragedy
Senator barkiya and his entourage were taken round the razed shops and stalls by officials of the market led by Abbas Labaran Albaba who is the chairman of the market’s association.

In their separate remarks, the special assistant to governor masari on markets development and chairman of the Katsina central market Abubakar Yusuf Saulawa and Abbas Labaran Albaba thanked the senator for the sympathy visit and the donation.

It could be recalled that no fewer than 700 shops and stalls were recently razed in fire Incident that ravaged the Katsina central market
