Jangebe Abduction:There was attempt to assassinate Zamfara speaker— PDP

The coalition of people Democratic party (PDP) social media users Zamfara State has raised alerm over alleged attempt to assesinate speaker state house of Assembly Nasiru Muazu Magarya while at Jangebe to hand over abducted school girls recently in the state.

The group has called on security agencies to with immediate effect arrest and prosecute Bello Bakyasuwa over alleged attempt to assassinate the State Speaker.

In a press conference held on Sunday evening at the state PDP headquarters in Gusau the state capital, the Chairman of the coalition PDP group Aminu Mohammed Lecturer, said they have evidences that, Bello Bakyasuwa and his pay masters were allegedly mastermind recent unrest at Jangebe town.

“The former Director General Bello Bakyasuwa,was alleged to have mastermind the recent attacked on the Speaker’s convoy in Jangebe, evidence has shown that on the day of handing over the released school girls of Jangebe to their parents at Jangebe town led by the Speaker Zamfara House of Assembly,the former Director General had spearheaded the move for the alleged assassination of Hon.Mu’azu Magarya”.

Meanwhile, the former Director General Bello Bakyasuwa in a recent press conference also alleged that the killing of 2 persons at Jangebe was as a result of the unrest caused by speaker’s visit.

“The former DG further called on security agencies to embark on an immediate investigation of the Speaker for allegedly having hand in the killing of the two protesters on the day he led the State Government’s delegation to handover the released schoolgirls to their parents.”

He said “the Speaker of the State Assembly should be arrested and grilled by the security agencies over the killing of innocent lives at Jangebe”.
