A woman (name withheld) had reportedly beaten her co-wife to death and set her corpse ablaze in Minna, Niger State.
The co-wife, Katsina Post learnt, simply identified as Fatima, is from Sabuwar Unguwa residential area in Katsina metropolis.
The horrible incident was said to have occurred on Tuesday, fifty days after her Fatima’s wedding.
Katsina posts reports that Narrating the ugly incident, a family source of the deceased who pleaded for anonymity told Katsina Post the two wives were not living in the same house.
“They were not living in the same house but the first wife went to her house which is not far and beaten her to death before locking her room up and setting her ablaze”, he said.
The deceased funeral rights are going to hold on Wednesday at Sabuwar Unguwa.
