Kano state Governor North-western Nigeria has vowed to punish those behind the release of his dollar videos
Foreign Hausa media services like the BBC and RFI have revealed the embattled Governor Ganduje saying the dollar video is fake which was aimed at stopping him from getting a second term in office and aimed at tarnishing his image.
His said investigation is going on with regards to those behind-the-dollar Videos.

Daily Nigerian an online News medium published the videos in October 2018 showing Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje stashing dollars inside his robe Babbar riga.
During the dollar video saga, the publisher of Daily Nigerian Mr. Jaafar Jaafar appeared before the Kano state house of assembly to defend the actual authenticity of the dollar videos.
Kano State Government has since sued the Daily Nigerian over the publication of the video dollars.
