The Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero has charged the good people of Kano and beyond to imbibe the habit of paying their taxes when its due.
The monarch was speaking while receiving the Executive chairman of kano state Internal Revenue services Abdulrazaq Datti Salihi on a courtesy call at his palace.
Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero further said it is not secret that the economic situation of the country is in dilemma hence the need for diversifying the sources of income so as to enable government to execute more projects.
The Emir advised the management staff of the board to adopt modalities that will enhance the revenue in Kano.

He reaffirmed that the Kano emirate and it’s counterparts are ready to support any move that will go along way in improving the living standard of the teeming populace.
Earlier, the Executive chairman of the board Abdulrazaq Datti Salihi said the visit was to pay homage and seek for Emir’s blessings and support in order to carryout his assigned responsibility effectively.
Meanwhile, the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero received the members of the National movement for Rebuilding Nigeria and pledged his maximum support to the Association in order to attained it’s mission.
The National president of the movement Dr Aminu Mato Jitan Dutse told the monarch that the outfit established to rebrand the country.
