PCACC Storms Filling Stations,Prevents Hoarding Of Petrol

The operatives of Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption, has tstormed some major Filling Station in the metropolis following the attempt of unpatriotic hoarding of Petroleum product in the state metropolis

The Executive Chairman of the Commission, Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado who led the team of the Operational department of the Anti-Graft Agency and other relevant stakeholders, said the move has became imperative following series of complaints by the members of the public.

He revealed that the Commission has obtained Court permission to embark on the exercise, but to their dismay during the special operation, the team has found most of the Filling stations hoarding the Product

Barrister Muhuyi who was accompanied by the head of state Office of National Human Right Commission, the Director Operations of the Outfit and some of his staffs said during the exercise, that his commission will continue to work hand in hand with all other relevant stakeholders with a view not to allow such situation to persist.

He said the Commission will not condone unnecessary hike of the petroleum products.

 

In a statement by Nura Ahmad Dakata said during the special operation, the team has visited over twenty filling stations located at Tarauni, Maiduguri road, Western by pass and Hadejia road respectively.
