He was a great Hausa poet and social critic.</p>

<p>In a statement by the Bauchi state’s commissioner of education, Dr. Aliyu Usman Tilde said the Executive Council has helped the Ministry see the dream promise it made to the representatives of the family of Malam Sa&#8217;adu when they came praying for his befitting immortalization become real. His Excellency, the Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, is particularly happy with the idea. We thank him immensely.</p>

<p>Malam Sa&#8217;adu ZUngur was among the young Nigerian politicians of his time who struggled for Nigerian independence and was secretary of the National Council of Nigerian citizens a party led by Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe.</p>
