Court Stops Abduljabbar From Preaching

A Kano Chief Magistrate Court as granted an ordered for the closure of the mosque of  Abduljabbar Nasiru Kabara and for the cleric to desist from further preaching.

 

The presiding Chief Magistrate, Mohammed Jibrin on Thursday said the order was a sequel to an oral application by the applicant Counsel, Barr. Wada A. Wada from the office of the Attorney General of Kano State.

Solacebase reports that court ordered that the mosque and Islamic Centre at Filin Mushe of  Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara, should with immediate effect be closed pending the outcome of an investigation being conducted by the police and other security agencies in Kano.

Also, it ordered the defendant in the suit,  Abduljabbar Nasir Kabara, to stop all preachings and unguarded utterances calculated to cause a breach of public peace in Kano.

Solacebase reports that Kano State government had on Wednesday night debarred  Abduljabar Nasir Kabara from preaching in the state for his mode of teachings considered too incendiary.
