IHRC Congratulates NSCDC Acting Commandant General

The Nigerian Office of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Geneva Switzerland a United Nations Accredited body congratulates the Deputy Commandant-General of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Hilary Kelechi Madu, who has been appointed as the Acting Commandant General of the Corps.

 

The newly appointed Acting Commandant General of NSCDC took over from the former CommandantGeneral, Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu. The Acting Commandant General of NSCDC. DCG Hilary Madu, was promoted Deputy Comptroller-General (Operations) of the NSCDC in July 2017, takes over from Abdullahi Gana Muhammadu whose extended tenure of six months expired on 18th day of January, 2021.

 

The Corps Members nation-wide are so much excited over the appointment of the new NSCDC Boss. The Coordinator/Special Envoy for Nigeria of the IHRC Nigeria, H.E Pst. Amb. Amadi Darlington Chidiebere in Abuja, has also expressed his gratitude to God Almighty over the appointment of DCG Hillary Kelechi Madu fsi, which according him is a well-deserved New Boss for the NSCDC.

The South-East Governors have also welcomed the development.
