Former Kano State commissioner of Education Alhaji Abdulhamid Hassan is dead
The former Commissioner died today in Kano and his funeral prayers will be held today around four PM at NDDC quarters Sharada in Kano metropolis.

Late Abdulhamid Hassan is an Educationist who served Kano and Jigawa State with all deligency and commitment.
He was once a principal with the famous Rumfa college in Kano and served as Head of many Schools in old Kano State.
He is survived by many children and great grand children .
Among his children are Hassan Abdulhamid Hassan ,Head of consumer protection Council in Kano.
In the second Republic during the administration of late Governor Muhammad Abubakar Rimi,Alhaji Abdulhamid Hassan was Kano State commissioner of Education from 1979 to 1983.
One of his sons Hassan Abdulhamid Hassan said their father will be buried at Dandolo cemetery in Kano
