Muhuyi Magaji steps in to address foreign scholarship crisis in Kano

The Executive Chairman of Public Complaints and Anti Corruption Commission (PCACC), Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, steps in to address the lingering crisis of the Kano State sponsored foreign scholarship medical student.

Magaji on Tuesday departed to Khartoum, Sudan to address the welfare crisis affecting the state-sponsored medical students under the foreign scholarship program.

Muhuyi is leading the state’s entourage, which includes the Senior Special Assistant on Higher Education Dr. Hussaini Akilu Jarma, the Director Administration and General Service/A.g Executive Secretary Kano State Scholarship Board, Kawu Nasiru, among others.

Muhuyi, who is currently in Sudan, in an exclusive interview with SAHELIAN TIMES said, “This is just a step towards solving the problems of the students that are stranded in other countries.”

“I will personally do all in my capacity to see that they cry no more,” he said.

This paper gathered that the students’ hope has been rekindled after the anti corruption boss landed in Khartoum.

Zainab Bala Isah, a student of Omdurman Islamic University, while expressing her gratitude said that they have been complaining incessantly about their predicaments for the past few years to no avail. However, she added that, “after we took our complaint to Barrister Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado in less one month, he is here with us today in Sudan.”

While thanking Muhuyi she also said,” we know how committed your office is, but despite that you found time to attend to our problems.”
