<p>He was born at Danmadanho village in Gezawa local government area to the family of LatevMalam Yusuf Abdurrauf ,the Imams of the village.</p>
<p>He was in Ilorin for Quranic education during the reign of General Yakubu Gowon as Head of State.</p>
<p>He later bagged his NCE at Saadatu Rimi College Of Education and B.Ed from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.</p>
<p>He is survived by one wife and seven children ,grand children, siblings ,among his siblings are his elder brother Malam Yushau Yusuf Abdurrauf ,the chief Imam of Bompai Jumuat Mosque who led the funeral prayers at Mariya Sunusi Mosque Danladi Nasidi.</p>
