It is base on this, the Leadership of the Assembly strongly call on the political parties in the State to accommodate our vibrant, dedicated and committed Youth aspirants by giving them a tickets to contest for Chairmanship as well as Councillorship positions in their respective local governments. With this style of inclusiveness we believe, political parties in Yobe State can be a medium not only for political guidance and mentorship to our Youth, but equally a ground for encouraging our them to become leaders of today, and builders of tomorrow.

The reduction of nomination fee by some political parties is commendable, and we look forward to see even more from others, so that the election will not only be open to everyone but also competitive.

We are specifically calling on the delegate and stakeholders from across parties to vote for a candidate who have a plan not only for himself and his family but for a well-being and sustainable development of their society. Let this exercise be an evidence to prove that our Youth are not only capable of voting but are equally capable to be voted in to champion the affairs of their Local Government, judiciously and effectively.

In a statement released by Director Media and Publicity YAN Usman Bin-Affan Damaturu prayed that as the exercise began in peace, it shall all went well, and that new faces of Youth will be the next portrait in our respective local government chambers.
