The commandant General Kano state Hisbah Board Sheikh Muhammad Harun Ibn Sina, says these days it has received complains of wife-beating in the state.
Sheikh Haruna Ibn Sina said the incessant beating of Housewives by their husbands has risen in Kano as they receive complain daily.
The commandant said the beating is not lighter but severe blows that lead to injury.

The Head of the Hisbah command said unlike before when the board receives complain of women stabbing their husbands but the situation has changed these days as women are being beaten which leads to injury.
The Hisbah commandant admonished women to be patient with the situation at hand and call on men to stop beating their wives for peaceful marriage to reign.
The Hisbah commandant says it’s better to stay peaceful with your spouses than engage in severe blows.

According to Sheikh Muhammad Haruna Ibn Sina in the last seven days, they have received 10 complain of wife-beating by different married women in the state.
