Breaking:Kano Exempts Judiciary Staff From Sit At Home Order

Kano state government has said that in view of the need for the continued administration of justice, staff of the judiciary have been exempted from the sit at home order for civil servants earlier announced on Tuesday, following an upsurge in COVID-19 cases.

The state commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba, who revealed this in a statement, said that with this development, court proceedings and other legal matters would not grind to a halt across the justice system.

“All courts will continue to serve justice in the society, while lawyers and law firms will continue to provide services for their clients,” the statement added.

In a statement by Commissioner of information Malam Muhammad Garba said , pointed out that in line with public health advice, the state Task Force on COVID-19 has asked all judicial staff to obey laid down protocols to the latter in the interest of public safety.
