“This shows the local government election is accepted by the people in the state. This gives us confidence, especially that we don’t believe in appointing Caretaker Committees to manage the affairs of our local governments. We want elected officials to manage the affairs,” he said.
In a statement by Abba Anwar said the Governor Explaining further that, “That is why we decided to hold this election. You can see that people are willing and are voting without any intimidation or harassment. They are voting the people they like.”
