The chief Imam of Alfurqan Jumuat Mosque Sheikh Dr Bashir Aliyu Umar has once again shed more light in pronouncing Divorce by Muslim actors in films.
Dr Bashir made the clarification again due to controversy and lack of understanding generated while making Quranic interpretation about the issue of Divorce.
The cleric says Islamic Shariah has made provisions on some specific things in Islam in which Muslims should not play with which includes the integrity of the prophet of Islam peace be upon him and the issue of pronouncing Divorce.

Therefore in other faith, there are no go areas, so also in Islam joking with Divorce is a no go area.
According to Dr Bashir, the Almighty Allah has since cautioned Muslims not to play with his Ayats that is signs or instructions among which is playing with the issue of Divorce.
The Sheikh said when Muslims are acting in films the issue of Divorce is a no go area so also things like Zihar equating the structure of one’s wife with his mother.
Dr Bashir further said whoever without knowledge pronounced Divorce in a film he has not to Divorce his wife.
The Sheikh said the fatwa was made in order to draw the attention of Muslim film actors to desist from pronouncing Divorce in order to adhere to Islamic injunctions.
This will also make them sanitise their profession for good.
