The people’s Democratic Party in Kano has sued the state’s independent electoral commission over the inclusion of the party in Saturday’s LG Elections.
The state party chairman Shehu Wada Sagagi stated this while addressing newsmen in Kano.
According to Sagagi the factional leadership of the party has committed contempt of court for presenting candidates to KANSIEC.
Sagagi said the Federal High court Judgment has affirmed the executives of the party led by him not the factional side of Ambassador Aminu Wali and chaired by Muhammina lamido.
The PDP chairman also insisted that the party will not participate in the January 16th local government elections in Kano
