Court dismisses suit challenging Uba Sharada ownership of Mosque , Islamiyya school, others

A Kano High Court on Monday dismissed a suit against Alhaji Uba Shehu Sharada challenging his ownership of Sharada Jumu’at Mosque, Islamiyya Junior Secondary School, Pure Water House and shops.

Solacebase reports that the plaintiffs in the suit are Hamza Suliaman and 5 others, on behalf of the community.

They demanded the court ordered the defendant Alhaji Uba Shehu Sharada to give an account of proceeds from the 38 shops and schools and give up ownership of Sharada Jumu’at Mosque, Islamiyya Junior Secondary School, Pure Water House and shops.

However in his judgement on Monday, Justice Nura Sagir in the case that started in 2010, dismissed the suit for want of evidence, lacking in merit and describing it as frivolous.
