<p>Katsina State Government has stressed its<br />
commitment to supporting irrigation farmers with farm inputs for increase production in the state.</p>
<p>This was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the chief press secretary to the state deputy governor, AlhajiIbrahim Musa Kallah.</p>

<p>The Deputy Governor Alh mannir yakubu gave the assurance while launching the sales of fertilizer for 2021 irrigation farming activities at Daberam irrigation site.</p>

<p>Alh mannir yakubu who is also the<br />
commissioner of Agriculture was represented by the special Adviser to the state Governor on Agriculture, Dr Abba Yakubu Abdullahi said the<br />
fertilizer will be sold to the farmers at the cost of four thousand naira only.</p>
<p>He said the state Government has providedwater pumping machines,sprayers and pesticides to the farmers for the success of their farming activities.</p>
<p>The Deputy Governor called on the irrigation farmers to utilize the commodities for the purpose it was given.</p>
<p>Earlier the chairman irrigation farmers of<br />
Daberam Irrigation site,malam Adamu said the state government has been regular in the provision of farming<br />
inputs to the irrigation farmers every year.</p>
<p>He thanked the state Government for providing the necessary materials for the irrigation farming.</p>
<p>Two thousand tones of fertilizer will be sold to the farmers at the irrigation sites across the state.</p>
