Katsina state police command said It has rescued 393 kidnapped victims from the bandits in the year 2020.
The command also neutralised 23 gun men in a gun battle during the year under review
The Katsina state commissioner of police C.P.Sanusi buba stated this at a press conference held at the command’s headquarters In Katsina.
According to the commissioner 1,503 suspects were arrested In connection with 1,024 cases,maintained that 1,116 suspects were under going prosecution in various courts in the state.

Buba said 304 suspected kidnappers,526 cattle rustlers,267 armed robbers and 287 suspected rapist were arrested in the year under review.
The police commissioner appreciated the efforts of the nigerian army,the Nigerian airforce,the D.S.S.the Nigerian security and civil defence corps and other security agencies for their collaboration towards achieving the success.
