The Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Yousef Al-Othaimeen,
In a statement, today condemned the dastardly terrorist blasts at Aden airport, perpetrated by terrorist Houthi militias, shortly after a plane carrying the newly formed and legitimate Yemeni government landed at Yemen’s temporary capital.
These craven terrorist acts will not deflect the Yemeni people and government or weaken their resolve to continue promoting the national interests of their country, in commitment to the security and military arrangements outlined in the Riyadh agreement under which Yemen’s new government was formed, Dr. Al-Othaimeen stressed.
The Secretary-General called for those who committed this despicable act of terror and their sponsors, supporting them with money and weapons, to be held to account.

He also reiterated the OIC’s support for the Yemeni Legitimacy Support Coalition in whatever measures they take to bring security and stability to Yemen.
