The Chief Magistrate Court 1 sitting in Dutse presided by Batula Dauda had convicted one Sabi’u Ibrahim Chamo for defamation of Character of the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Muhammadu Badaru Abubakar MON, mni.
The fact of the case was that Sabi’u Chamo had made a post on his Facebook page and made a malicious statement about the Governor.
