Shekarau, Kwankwaso’s successor -Predecessor Condole him over the death of his Father

Former Kano State Governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau has commisserated with his predecessor successor over the demise of his father last Friday

Malam Ibrahim Shekarau and Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso are the only two politicians in Nigeria that are in a successor predecessor relationship since the country returns to democracy in 1999.

Shekarau succeeded Kwankwaso in the year 2003 after the defeat of Kwankwaso and when Malam Ibrahim Shekarau finishes his eight year tenure Kwankwaso succeeded him till 2015.

Since the demise of Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s father on Friday the 25th of December politicians from all walks of life have been trooping to the residence of Engineer Kwankwaso to condole him over the death of his father Alhaji Musa Sale Kwankwaso who died at the age of 93.

The only prominent politician who is yet to show up at Kwankwaso’s residence is Kano State Governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who was said to have visited Dubai by the state commissioner of information Malam Muhammad Garba.

Emir’s of Kano and Bichi were also sighted by the Nigerian Tracker at Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s residence ,they are Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero and Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero.

Prominent Islamic Scholars from all the state’s major sect have visited the former Kano State Governor to condole him over
the death of his father.
