<p>Chidari Later proceeded to Kano State college of arts, science and remedial studies from 1986-88 and then Bayero University where he bagged Bsc electrical engineering from 1988-92.</p>
<p>Young Engineer Chidari did his NYSC at Midlands Company Ltd Ibadan from1992-93, Maintainance Engineer ABG Communications Limited , Kano office from 1993-94 ,Assistant Workshop manager ABG comm. Ltd Head office Kaduna 1994-95, Workshop manager ABG Comm. Ltd head office Kaduna 1995-96.</p>

<p>His zeal in lawmaking made him to be elected Minority leader Kano State House Of Assembly, KSHA from 1999-2003.</p>
<p>He later became Senior legislative aid to Hon. member Danbatta /Makoda federal constituency, House Of Representative from 2003-2007.</p>

<p>Elected member Makoda constituency KSHA under PDP from the year 2007-2011</p>
<p>Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari was re-elected member makoda contsuency Kano State House of Assembly from 2011-2015 under the PDP.</p>
<p>He also became Majority leader and later deputy speaker from 2011-2015.</p>
<p>When his constituents felt satisfied with his representation skills ,he was again given another chance and was returned as elected member KSHA from 2015-Date</p>

<p>Immediately the House was Inaugurated Chidari was elected as Deputy speaker KSHA 2015 to 15Nov2020.</p>
<p>Following the resignation of AbdulAziz Garba Gafasa as Speaker of the state House of Assembly on 15th December 2020 , the House having confidence in Engineer Chidari ,they unanimously elected him their leader on the 16 of November to fill in the vacant stool left by Abdul -Aziz Garba Gafasa.</p>
<p>His debut into politics was at the Grassroots level.</p>
<p>Engineer Hamisu Chidari was first elected Chairman makoda local govt council in the year 1997 after its creation by former Head of State , General Sani Abacha.</p>
<p>He was the pioneer Makoda local govt representative at state House of Assembly and Oldest member in the history of Kano State House Of Assembly.</p>
<p>He is the only engineer in the state house of Assembly among his 40 colleagues drawn from Kano three senatorial districts.</p>
<p>He is the only legislature that possessed the experience of holding all the positions of principal officer as majority leader, Minority leader, deputy speaker and now speaker Kano State House Of Assembly and was three times deputy speaker of the House<br />

<p>Engineer Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari bags meritorious award from national and international bodies .</p>
<p>The Speaker also Aspired for house of representatives for Danbatta /Makoda federal constiuency in 2019.</p>
<p>Engineer Hamisu Chidari&#8217;s hobbies are reading and travelling.</p>
