<p>Speaking shortly after the apointment, Ganduje said considering the significance of the task bestowed on the former Commissioner, there was the compelling need for the herculean task to be handed over to him, adding that his emoluments and package of service, is akin to what a serving Comissioner is getting from the State government.</p>

<p>He pointed out that the issue of one&#8217;s proficiency and expertise must be taken into cognizance before finally arriving at such a crucial decision stressing that his appointment was purely based on merit, confidence, competence and the ability to live above board.</p>
