The Senate on Tuesday has confirmed the appointment of Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Mahmood is to head INEC for the second term of five years.
His confirmation is following the submission of a report by the Senate Committee on INEC, led by Senator Kabiru Gaya.
